7 November 2019, Luhui Yan, CEO and founder of Carbonstop, was invited to attend UN Science Policy Business Forum Second Scoping Meeting and High Level Working Group on Big Data and Digital Ecosystem for the Planet in Canberra, Australia. Luhui did the presentation of "Creating a Culture of Accountability", sharing the contribution that Carbonstop had made in low-carbon big data and corporation carbon management. Data is one of the most important information source and business drivers nowadays. Low-carbon big data  In the field of low-carbon sustainable development, different stakeholders have common but different demands. For the government (including local government), sufficient and valid data (such as carbon emission of local corporation) is the basis of policy-making process, especially in the case of making scientific goal of carbon emission and related strategy. For corporations, they need to know their own emissions and the level of their industry in order to reduce the emission at the lowest cost and set a scientific goal. For the public, the decision of buying a low-carbon product requires more disclosure of carbon footprint from product. 

Recently, Carbonstop developed mini-program with the theme of carbon emission calculator for garbage sorting, and published the mini-program on 20th November 2019 community waste management forum. The mini-program has two main parts:calculator for community and calculator for meeting. Community calculator focuses on carbon emission reduction calculation from correct garbage sorting and sustainable waste treatment method while meeting calculator focuses on carbon emission calculation of participants commendation, transportation, food and energy use of the meeting hall. Community garbage sorting calculator has 4 group: recycled waste, food waste, harmful waste and garden waste. Users need to fill the blank with the exact weight of waste and the number of people who generate the waste, then they will get a carbon emission reduction of his/her action. Meeting calculator considers transportation,accommodation, diet, energy and paper use five . Meeting participants needs to enter the data, then the calculator will give the final results.

Recently, Baidu invited Carbonstop to quantify the carbon emission of their data center, office building and commuting cars. Also, Carbonstop updates the carbon emission reductions for each kind of green transport. Besides, Carbonstop drafted the 2020 low-carbon plan for Baidu. Baidu as a leading Internet-focused compony in China, aims to "green the action" of individuals, society and the whole country. The results will be announced by Zhou Da, who is the Vice chairman of Baidu Foundation, Chief of Staff in Baidu in 2019 COP 25 in Spain. A few months ago, Carbonstop calculated the carbon emission reductions in Xiaodu Farm. Before September 2019, green transportation had reached 70,000,000 times, and saved 30807 t CO2e.

Carbonstop calculated related carbon emissions of this forum, and helped them achieved carbon neutral with China Green Carbon Foundation. In Shenzhen, UNLEASH again gathers 1.000 people from all over the world, as well as involve civil society and private public sector in the innovation process. Wang Lixin, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen, Robert Kirkpatrick, Director of the “Global Arteries” of the UN Big Data Innovation Initiative, UN Sustainable Development Goals advocate Alla Murabbit, Chairman of the Carlsberg Group & Carlsberg Foundation, and Chairman of the UNLEASH Secretariat Leiming Beisenbach, Director of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee Liang Yongsheng, Deputy Director Deng Xiaojun, Deloitte partner Bahare Hagchenas and other innovative talents from more than 160 countries and regions around the world, top companies in the world, scientific research. More than 1,500 representatives from institutions, foundations, non-profit organizations, investment institutions, and media attended the opening ceremony. Vanke  Foundation Secretary General Chen Yimei introduced the UNLEASH2019 carbon neutralization project. She stated that after carbon accounting, the carbon emissions from the host country of the conference and the VIP flight of the conference were 576 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. Through public welfare donations from Vanke Public Welfare Foundation and Shenzhen Zhongbao Bixun Security Technology Co., Ltd., China Green Carbon Foundation will plant 86 acres of carbon neutral forests in Taihang Mountainous District, Hebei Province, and approximately 9,500 Platycladus orientalis. The absorbed carbon dioxide is sufficient to offset all the greenhouse gas emissions generated by the conference and VIP flights in the conference to achieve carbon neutrality.

3 November 2019, hangzhou marathon ended successfully. This activity was hosted by Athletic Association, Hangzhou Municipal Government and Sports Bureau of Zhejiang Province. Carbonstop calculated the carbon emissions of the activity and help it achieve carbon neutral. In 2019, the Hangzhou Marathon Organizing Committee adheres to the "green and low-carbon" concept of running competitions, and jointly organizes the implementation of the "2019 Hangzhou Marathon Ant Forest Carbon Neutral Public Welfare Project". A total of 300,000 donations from 113 green public welfare players and Ali Sports donated a total of 300,000 yuan to plant "2019 Hangzhou Marathon Ant Forest Carbon Neutral Forest", and "Hangzhou Marathon Forest" will be planted in Handan City, Taihang Mountain Region, Hebei Province.
