In September 2018, Carbonstop was invited by Crowne Plaza International Airport Beijing to conduct quantitative analysis of the hotel's carbon emission reduction status and propose improvement proposals, which will be promoted to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) to help the Group's hotels all reach IHG Green Engage system Level 3 and above.

Carbonstop quantified carbon emission data from multiple indexes like amount of hotel room, functional area, energy type, etc., and explored hotel's emission reduction potential and abatement cost by comparing the total and intensity emission data from these aspects,  summarizing the hotel's current reduction mode insufficiency, and then suggesting proposals for the future management of the hotel and even the group.

InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (IHG) is a global hotel group that operates and franchises more than 5,000 hotels in more than 100 countries and territories around the world. IHG's hotel brands include InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza Hotels, Holiday Inn Express, Indigo Hotel (Indigo) and more. All IHG hotels use the IHG Green Engage system, which converts hotels' energy and water and waste generated into greenhouse gases according to certain formulas. Based on four levels of evaluation criteria, hotels are able to measure and manage their environmental impact. Crowne Plaza International Airport Beijing was established in June 2008 and is located in Tianzhu Airport Economic Development Zone, Shunyi District, Beijing. Currently, the hotel is still at Level 1 and Level 2 is in the process of application.
