On October 19, 2018, the inaugural meeting of China Green Supply Chain Alliance was held in Beijing. Member of the Party and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Xin Guobin, member of the former party group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the former Discipline Inspection Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Jin Shubo attended the meeting and delivered a speech. As a member of the alliance, Carbonstop was invited to participate in this event.

The purpose of this conference is to review and adopt the alliance charter, elect the first council, review and approve the list of expert advisory committees and the draft management plan for alliance funds, and complete the unveiling ceremony of the alliance. After the inauguration of the alliance, the China Green Supply Chain Management Innovation Summit Forum was also held. More then 200 representatives from Department of Energy Conservation, Planning, Industrial Policy, Science and Technology, SME, Raw Materials Industry, Electronic Information Division, International Cooperation Division and other relevant departments, and some local industrial and information management departments, alliance members, relevant industry organizations, domestic and foreign media and international organizations attended the event.

Director Xin Guobin pointed out that China Green Supply Chain Alliance is a non-profit cooperative organization established by related enterprises, universities, research institutes, financial institutions and industry associations. It is necessary to make full use of all aspects of strength, integration of resources, and collaborative interaction to make a difference on the management, technological innovation, evaluation services and other aspects of green supply chain. The alliance should become the practitioner of the green development concept, the pioneer of green manufacturing innovation and development, and contributes to industrial green development and ecological civilization construction. In his speech, Jin Shubo, the chairman of the alliance, pointed out that building a green supply chain is an important starting point for industrial green development. Building alliances is an inevitable choice for cohesive forces to lead development. It is necessary to clarify responsibilities, scientific planning, and solidly promote alliance construction. Up to now, the alliance has more than 140 member units such as Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Tencent Computer System Co., Ltd.
