1、what is COP25？

The 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP25, is the 25th United Nations Climate Change conference. It was held in Madrid, Spain, from 2 to 13 December 2019 under the presidency of the Chilean government. The conference incorporates the 25th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the 15th meeting of the parties for the Kyoto Protocol, and the second meeting of the parties for the Paris Agreement.

COP25 is a meeting taking place now, over a two week period, in Spain where world leaders and representatives from Governments, civil society experts, youth groups, activists and the private sector are gathering to advance high level policy discussions and take immediate actions on climate change.

2、What activities did Carbonstop participate in？

 12 December, China Pavilion, Luhui Yan, the founder of Carbonstop attend the corporations day. The discussion focused on climate actions of corporation, innovation actions of stakeholders.

13 December, Luhui Yan attend "Corporations' Climate actions : Low-carbon and Sustainable Life" and gave a keynote speech. 

12 December, Luhui Yan was incited to "Art of Change", the activity invited many artists, change-makers and innovators to share their contributions in climate change。

3、COP25 & products from Carboonstop

#Baidu carbon management case

    Carbonstop help Baidu calculate their carbon emission from buildings, commuting cars and data center. Also, calculations of their Green transport in Baidu Map.

#ALIBABA Cainiao Logistics

    Carbonstop calculated more than 10 low-carbon scenario in Logistics and build a green logistics assessment system for them.

#carbon emission reduction calculation of garbage sorting in Xishan Community

    Funded by Vanke Foundation, Carbonstop calculated the carbon emission reductions from garden waste composting, black soldier fly treatment of food waste and garbage sorting.

#Carbon neutral projects 

    Carbonstop helped these activities achieve carbon neutral: Jiannanchun trip, Hangzhou Marathon, UNLEASH,  National Class A Tourism Scenic Quality Improvement Training.

#绿名单项目

    碳阻迹负责阿拉善基金会房地产绿色供应链绿名单项目的标准体系的建设，目标是推进房地产及上游供应链企业将巨大的减排潜力化为强劲实力，为中国乃至世界的碳减排目标做贡献。

#Carbon Account

    Funded by EF foundation, CCFA and Carbonstop developed carbon account to encourage sustainable and low-carbon consumption.

#Energy-saving monopoly mini-game

    National energy conservation center and Carbonstop jointly launched “energy-saving monopoly game”, users reached 100,000.

#carbon calculator of community garbage sorting

    Funded by VANKE Foundation, Carbonstop develope a mini-program about emission reduction of garbage sorting and GHG footprint of meeting/forum.

#China carbon footprint platform:Ccloud

    Carbonstop developed the first carbon accounting LCA platform.

#Beijing Winter Olympic carbon neutral platform

   Carbonstop developed carbon footprint calculator for Beijing Winter Olympic carbon and provide access for users to achieve carbon neutral.

四、Time for Action

This year's theme is “Time for Action”，the best way to tackle the climate change is taking actions. Looking forward to next year and Carbonstop will bring more cases and practise.
