Carbonstop upgraded "China Climate Change Education" Website

In March 2019, carbonstop was invited byChina Association for NGO Cooperation to upgrade "China Climate Change Education" Website. This upgrade includes new UI design. timeline for stage 2 project, video module, organization information, project information, experts information. Until now, the education projects has continued for two stage, the first one started from 2012 and the second one started from 2016. Many activities, such as development of teaching material, training of teachers, knowledge competition and international communication, have been held. In the future, broader and more frequent activities are proposed to lead the low-carbon lifestyle of students, and then promote low-carbon actions on family and community level.

Canbonstop developed alipay mini-program for Beijing Association to Promote Energy Conservation and Environmental Promotion

In March 2018, carbonstop was invited by Beijing Association to Promote Energy Conservation and Environmental Promotion to develop "Less driving one more day every week“ mini-program and Customer Services mini-program. There are some main functions, including log in, main page, carbon emission reduction page, gift page, personal information, reminds for license plates restriction and website back end. This mini-program is initiated by Beijing development and reform commission, alibaba and Beijing Association to Promote Energy Conservation and Environmental Promotion. Carbon emission reductions are achieved by green transport meanwhile the emitted vehicle exhaust can be reduced. For car-owner in Beijing, less driving for one more day in a week can get money rewards and green energy in ant forest.

Carbonstop developed wanshan town carbon neutral information platform

To encourage low-carbon tourism and tackle the problem of climate change, carbonstop developed wanshan town carbon neutral information platform in wechat mini-program. This platform display all the low-carbon scenarios, records all low-carbon actions of tourists. Then, when people do the low-carbon actions, the platform will records them and transfer every action into credit. Tourists can uses the credits to redeem gifts. Besides, tourists can purchase CCER or plant trees to offset their carbon emission during their trip in Nan Ao Island Wanshan town and achieve zero net carbon emission. Nan Ao Island is the only island county of Guangdong Procince with 4A tourist attraction brands. It covers an area of 113.8 km2, consist of 33 islands. The county has three towns, one tourist resort and one island national forest park.

Carbonstop got 1A and 6B in CDP for 7 clients

From May to August 2018, carbonstop continued to provide carbon management service in CDP project for clients. The services include annual carbon emission calculation, emission targets, climate change risks and opportunities identification and supply chain questionnaire reply. The results released a little bit later than usual, on 22 January. In total, CDP global received 6973 questionnaires. 127 of them got A result, including Apple, China Mobile and Pirelli these responsible corporations. Carbonstop got 1 A- and 6 B for clients, which proofs that Chinese corporations have paid close attention to the climate change field, and started to have achievement. The CDP invites major companies to fill out CDP design questionnaires each year to disclose corporate greenhouse gas emissions and disclose strategies to address climate-related risks and opportunities. Carbonstop has provided consulting support for CDP supply chain companies for many years and helped customers achieved outstanding results. In 2019, carbonstop will continue to provide excellent and professional services to clients.

Carbonstop calculated carbon emission reductions of XTD board

In November 2018, carbonstop calculated carbon emission reductions of XTD board, which is composed of up to 95% straw material. Besides, carbonstop also certificate the product as low-carbon products. The methodology follows the standards "CM-100-V01 carbon emission reduction methodology of waste agricultural straw replace wood producing board project ". Every m3 XTD board will reduce 1.6588 t CO2e.
